Good morning I canned tomato sauce yesterday and forgot to add the lemon juice before water bath thing. Can I still save it by re-boiling and adding the lemon juice to the jars or can I freeze it? It’s been less than 24 hours since I processed them. Please let me know.

Hi, I was told by a friend that a red cedar tree we have in our yard maybe very old. I measured the circumference at shoulder height and it measured approximately 72". He recommended that I contact your organization to see if I should report it to anyone at the state level.

What's wrong with my goldenrod? #885536

Hello! I have a zigzag goldenrod in my garden that I planted about 2 years ago. This year it just hasn't been doing well - the stems and leaves are turning brown and dying off. The other plants surrounding it seemed to be doing ok this summer despite the drought, which is why I'm curious if it's a pest or disease. Thank you for the help!

Hello - Based on the attached photo, would you say that this plant was diseased, and should not be placed in municipal hot compost? It had a quite productive life. I dug it up a couple of days ago when it stopped producing and I note that it had some greenery, but that there was also a considerable amount of grey and dusty leaves, as well as a stem and some branches that were hollow and very gray. (I also have a tomato plant that has mostly gray foliage but a few spotted leaves.) Thanks as always. You do a terrific job and a tremendous service.

Acer Leaves - Pest or Disease ID #885524

The photos are from a Japaneses maple that began having issues on the leaves. I cannot tell if it is from leaf scorch, pests or disease. Please let me know if any additional information is needed to ID the issue. Thank you.

Cherry tree bugs and apple tree bugs #885521

My Cherry trees look like they are dying, the tops of the trees are losing their leaves and the trunks of the trees have little holes in them about i/8" in diameter like a beetle has emerged from it . My apple trees have the same hole in the trunk but the foliage seems healthy for now. The holes in the apple trees just appeared this year, the holes in the cherry trees have been there for 3 or 4 years. The cherry tree exhibits the same symptoms as the ash beetle infected ash trees.
