Good afternoon, My wife and I moved into our new house in La Veta in the fall of 2022. I am currently trying to revive my lawn. I talked to a lady over at Get Sunday products, and upon seeing the weeds and issues I had, she referred me to you for help in determining herbicide & application method for my location and weed type. She wanted me to make sure I let you know my ultimate plan is to aerate, top dress, and overseed. As well as timeline between herbicide and reseeding. the most of my weeds are summer cypress or kochia, which makes up most of my big bare spots. I also have some dandelions, but also storks bills and small amount of common mallow. I have some woods rose that I cut down last year, that is obviously just starting to regrow. I mostly am just not sure where to start, what to start with, and timeline. I would assume I need to carpet the lawn for weeds, then overseed, but need advice on that. Most of the grass that I have now is also smooth brome, with some Kentucky bluegrass underneath, and have seed for tall fescue. The past two winters something has been eating my huechera down to the ground. This year it also nibbled the ends of the bush honeysuckle and sweet spire bush. Do you have any idea what could be eating them and any suggesting how to prevent it?

Hi, I am looking for guidance on getting rid of chameleon plant in my yard. I am planning to try suffocating a large patch of it with black plastic and wood chips and then edge the section. And leave it for 1-2 years. Thoughts on that approach? But it has spread elsewhere in my yard too so I thought I'd try chemicals like Round up or poison ivy killer for the less dense weedy parts. Key question: Should I apply chemical to the leaves or can I cut off the stem and paint it directly on the open stem (helps to minimize how much chemical I use). Also I saw there was a Purdue University study in 2022 that found chemicals were not effective. Is that your experience? I have tried digging it out too, but it comes back so fast I cannot realistically keep up so considering other options. what if I keep cutting it at the soil level? would that help or hurt?

Also, I think it spreads by both rhizomes and seeds from the flower. Is that right? That would help explain why it is coming up in random parts of my yard.

What is the typical time of the year when white grub larvae hatch? I would like to spray Imidacloprid on my lawn just prior to the larvae hatching. Thank you for your reponse,

Hello, I have a couple questions about watering. 1. We have shrubs planted last summer, and we are about to turn back on our irrigation system and set the timer. Once shrubs are established, what is your recommended watering schedule? How many times per week and for how many minutes each time? 2. Same question for blueberry bushes. 3. Hello, I have several of these bunches of grass throughout my yard. I also see many around town. They seem to throw a lot of seeds. Is it invasive? Is it a native grass? It does look pretty when it is cleaned up, but I don't want to promote pests. Thank you.

Hello, I have a set of Annabelle Hydrangeas that I forgot to trim. Now they're budding - is it still OK to trim them or should I leave them alone for the season? Will I still get the flowers on top? Any other care tips for them is appreciated. Thank you
