Is it safe to eat tomatoes with these cracks?

Not a plant problem, but having an issue with yellow jackets. They are all over my yard. Have also seen them around my neighborhood. I had 1 nest in the ground in my yard [found it the hard way cutting grass). I got rid of the nest. But they are still all over my yard. They are usually at ground level to maybe 6 inches above. What is the best way to control them.

Online sites say to destroy damaged end rot tomatoes. My little green tomatoes have not yet rotted. If I add calcium to my plants can the formed tomatoes be saved? This is not mentioned on line.

Hi, Questions for you. Someone (maybe a master gardener?) was circulating a table that shows flowering plants with some of their relevant characteristics, to help decide which flowering plants to plant where and when. The plant species were in the rows and (some of) their characteristics were in the columns. Some chars were: - when they bloom - perennial or annual - native, introduced, invasive - colors - height - sun needs - full, partial, shade - water needs - damp, drought resistant - soil types they live in - when they are out - good companion plants If you know of one or more of these tables, would you send them to me? I am also interested in this kind of table for shrubs and trees that will work in Annapolis. Thanks for any help!

I applied Quinclorac 75DF to kill the mature crabgrass and other weeds one week ago in my sun drenched front yard. Not all have died. I have heard mixed opinions about removing the dead plants, but cannot imagine that a grass seed could germinate when planted into this mess. I need some help and advice please, Can you help please???

How do I get rid of them

Hi, I layed sod (July 14th) 90% has taken root. Some edges have not but still seem to be growing very well. Friday the 13th I aerated my yard, (was this too soon with the time I layed sod?) then layed down Scott’s turfbuilder winterguard fall weed and feed. I forgot about the bird and rodent issues pulling up some sod and digging holes. I got some Scott’s top soil and Scott’s ez seed filled the holes and then seeded them after I had already layed the turf builder fall weed and seed. I also proceeded to use the ez seed and over seed the whole yard as it seemed a little thin. ( did I mess anything up by doing this?) did I mess up my yard by doing things in kinda a backwards order? (Weed feed, top soil, seed/overseer and water ) Thanks!

Neighbor's oak tree constantly dropping tiny speckled balls slightly larger than mustard seeds, sounds like light rain fall. What are they and should we be concerned for the health of the tree?
