Last year our bartlett pears had bad spots on the fruit. They were like dimples on the outside surface. They formed a hard area that had to be cut out in order to use the fruit. Not only was it time consuming, but in some cases there wasn't much pear left that was good. Can you tell me what this might be, and what I might spray to prevent this? I attached a photo of a piece of fruit with the dimples.
