I am really struggling with wild parsnip in my files and am trying to remove, prevent, eradicate this poisonous plant. I want to have farm animals but I really worried about this. Do you have a solution, goats to eat this. I am at my whits end and feel defeated. I am trying to turn this land into a productive organic garden space, but the removal, and maintained everything of the wild parsnip is defeating. Thank you for any help you can give!

Hi, a few years ago we purchased an Isabella plat book from your office. Is that something you still do? Has there been a newer edition since 2015-2016? This is for the Map Library at Michigan State University. We want to own every edition of the Isabella plat book. We have them going back to 1899.

Japanese Knot Weed #798122

I have been looking for a way to control Japanese Knot Weed, everything I have tried knocks down the above ground growth, but the root doesn't die and regrows again. I have tried Round Up, 24D based broad leaf killer and many other weed killers with no good results. I have dug up the root and let it dry out in the sun but there are many locations that that is not an option. Any suggestions?

I am a new homeowner in the area and my backyard is very shaded and has a creek running though it. There is a lot of poison ivy and I want to eradicate it with environmentally friendly methods if possible, but we are open to chemical treatment if natural methods are ineffective or unrealistic. Do you have any staff that can provide guidance or a site visit to help us formulate a plan?

Creeping Vine Identification #777215

I’m trying to find out what plant we have growing in our yard and how to get rid of it. It’s a creeping vine looks like creeping Charlie however the stems or vines seem thicker and there are other small changes. I’m including a picture if you could advise me on what it is and the best way to get rid of it I’d appreciate it very much. I’m also including a picture of a chemical that was recommended to see if you think it might work because other products are around $60. Thank you in advance for your help!
