I live in rural Benton County. Several of my trees have a black fungus on them that develop into pods.  It has spread to other trees and I don't know what to do.  I also have several trees with severe moss type stuff all over the bark and the leaves eventually die and don't rebloom in the spring.  I can't afford an arborist but I also can't stand to watch these trees dying.  Can you please give me some pointers on what I can do and if there is any hope of saving them?

Questions about application using Vitiseal, 1 Do you spray on cut or paint on? 2 If spray on, is there any concern about covering buds. Does it inhibit bud growth? 3 Do you apply it to all cut surfaces, such as cane ends in cane pruning? Or just cover major cut ends close to or on the trunk? PS, great article, I am a believer in protection of cut ends but this is first evidence of positive benefits

recently had a few acres of scrub oak mulched, now wondering what type of grass seed to apply to the fields, including @ 5 acres of cleared fields that need refreshing

I have about 12 apple trees, 6 cherry trees, 4 peach, pear, and plum trees. I am entering the third year after planting my yearling trees. I have noticed on the peaches especially, but some on the apple and cherry that the leaves get curled and funny looking. I am assuming that this is leaf curl. With fall approaching I was looking for help in finding a solution to treat my orchard. I do not use any chemicals at all for anything I grow. I am willing to use any form of organic solutions, or any ideas for permaculture options as well. Any information you may have would be greatly appreciated.
