fungus on trees #889129
Asked October 31, 2024, 4:00 PM EDT
Hi,
I live in rural Benton County. Several of my trees have a black fungus on them that develop into pods. It has spread to other trees and I don't know what to do. I also have several trees with severe moss type stuff all over the bark and the leaves eventually die and don't rebloom in the spring. I can't afford an arborist but I also can't stand to watch these trees dying. Can you please give me some pointers on what I can do and if there is any hope of saving them?

Hi there,
What kind of trees are we talking about? Do you have any photos of the fungus? Treatment depends on species of tree and species of fungus.
