My two Norweigan Pines have browning needles at the ends of the branch and appear to be making their way inwards. I don’t believe it is needlecast, but maybe some virus or cold wind damage from the Winter. However, this issue starting showing up last Fall. Could you help me to diagnose what’s going on and possibly some direction. So far I have been told to prune the bad limbs and treat with a fungicide.

Some of my 2yo cherry trees are wilting, have pieces missing, and have some holes. This is only appearing on one section and branch. Also, these red numbs are on some leaf stems. Help!

They appear to be some kind of burrow. When I scrape off the pile, there is a little hole between 5/16" and 3/8" going down into the ground. I've tried digging some up but never can find anything. Sometimes it looks like pine needles have been pulled down into the hole.

Hello, I have 2 inkberry hollies-Densa. They are about 4-5 years old. Both have lost most of their leaves. Thought it was deer damage, but don't think so. Can you please tell me what is the best way to care for these shrubs. I've looked up info and I'm getting conflicting info. This form will not accept my pictures. I've tried doing this on my IPhone but that will not accept pics either. Can I send them through another way?

California Invasive Plant Council lists Lupinus arboreus (yellow bush lupine as an invasive needing eradication. Does Oregon also recognize this listing here?

We are aggressively trying to limit bindweed in our new lawn. We don't have a lot of it, but we're wondering which chemical treatments we should use when it is in or on the edges of lawn that won't also kill the grass. Any recommendations are welcome.

Hi, I had to remove a rose bush in November 2022 as it had contracted Rose Rosette Disease the year prior and had died from it. I believe the neighbor's rose bushes that it got it from have been removed (but I can't really know for certain). I have no other roses. There has been nothing planted in this area for the last 18 months. I just bought a new rose bush to replace the lost one and would like to plant it in the same spot as it is right in front of my house on a public sidewalk. Is it safe to plant this new rose bush there? Or is the virus still in the soil? Thank you!

Hello! I recently got my soil test results back and it indicates that my nitrogen in my raised beds is low, but my phosphorus and potassium are very high. Actually, for "hand raising" this soil and using the hugelkultur method to fill these beds about three years ago, I am really surprised and quite disappointed in the results! I will attach a picture of the results for your reference, but I'm curious...how can I fix this? The testing company is recommending a 12-0-0, like blood or feather meal. But, I've also read that dahlias don't like a lot of nitrogen so I'm worried that this will tip the scales too far the other direction. I'm also really hoping that this is something that can be quickly remedied by adding things to the soil versus growing a legume cover crop because...well, I was VERY eager to start flower gardening this year and I'm about to have 30 dahlia tubers that need a bed (I KNOW I can't be the only one guilty of this) . I appreciate any guidance you can offer!
