In Lansing, MI a young family moved into house directly behind me. He had a goat in back yard, no problem until my back yard constantly smelled like a big manure pile. City codes got on his case accouple of times. The goat owner then spread-out manure so the smell was not so noticeable. And the goat disappeared two summers ago. The owner put the goat in the block garage, and it never came out into the tiny back yard again. I could hear a bleat a couple of times when it went in. I complained to city codes (Jeramey) and he came out here in spring.
He will not face the goat guy nor help the goat. Today 17 Sept. 24 I have not seen or smelled any fresh manure at the corner of our adjoining yards. So now I am concerned more now that goat may be either seriously depressed to the tipping point of really bad health mental and physical.
What can be done to HELP THIS CREATURE. This man has also had birds in the back yard in cages too small. Raccoons have been around them in the past. So, the quail disappeared. This guy is clueless.
Can someone help and advice this person about animals and living in the city.
