What is needed to obtain a commercial aerial applicator license to operate a drone. what study material ansd test need to be taken. Where and when in Sioux County can I do this?

I'm aware of the helpful CSU Extension Office publications that suggest water-wise horticulture, smart landscaping etc.  BUT Is there a list of ("N0 No")  ie Russian Olives, sumacs etc

9 (out of 48) Doug Fir trees on my property have dead tops. I thought maybe gray squirrels were eating the bark (I can see missing bark), but a friend suggested that the trees were stressed because many of the trees are loaded with fir cones at the tops.  These trees are approximately 30 years old and have always been healthy. The dead tops came on rather suddenly, a year or two ago. I assume the trees with the dead tops will eventually die?  

I live in 2.5 acres. My neighbor logged his property a few years ago. I was also curious if this changed the water table enough to cause drought?

If anyone has some ideas, I would appreciate it.

Is there a recommended ph tester for foods that you would use in a water bath process? Is it safe to use a meat broth in a recipe that has other high acid foods in it? Can you ever water bath can a sauce recipe that would use a cured meat like pancetta?

Hi again. As I said in my previous email about milkweed, I am taking the Master Gardening course and just read that my Bradford Pear Tree can//will threaten my milkweed plants. It currently has been growing in my front yard right next to my Holly tree for the past 25 years. Both are about 50 feet high-in my estimation --they are well over the height of my 2 story house. My question is this...should I have my Bradford cut down? I am very concerned about this because I realize after 25 years the root system of both trees have interconnected and perhaps formed a symbiosis and, maybe, should just be allowed to exist with me knowing never to plant one again? Your advice?

Hi--I'm currently taking your Master Gardening course and am in the module about invasive plants. It discusses milkweed--which I grow a lot of in my garden in Rosedale--but it doesn't share which milkweed seeds are native. I probably have non native and would like to switch to native milkweed seeds. Can you recommend which seeds I need and, perhaps, suggest a source from where I can buy them? Thank you so much

Cows have overgrazed 1/4 + acre lot, and the land is now bare. A large fir tree is in the middle of the plot, and I think it is suffering. The land has about a 4% slope. My well is in the bottom corner of that area. Cows will be gone by March, and no livestock will be allowed there again. Please help, I need information on how to recover the land.
