    Hello would like to prune my apple trees now, this weekend. They were pretty in need in the fall but did not get to it. I see we have warmer temps this weekend and next week. Is that a problem for pruning ? I thought I might have enough lead way before spring thaw but not sure now.

    Can I prune this tallest leaf on the left? We have lots of strong young growth, and this one is overtaking the room. I assume I would prune it as low as I could?

    Hello, I was wondering if UNH Extension offered a master food preservation certificate? Like water bath canning, pressure canning, etc.. If not, do you have any recommendations? I currently do both however I am also a big believer in certification in order to teach others.

    Are there any religious exemptions from the rules regarding the processing of livestock on a farm to be sold? Specifically Halal meat? I am a Realtor representing a client trying to buy property for this purpose, so we don't know which county he will buy in but either Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina or Erie Counties are most likely.     It appears I have to purchase queens (at least order them) before I am ready to split my hives (if they make it through the winter). How do I keep them alive until I split the hive, and then re-queen the original hive? Can I just place them in one of my hive and let the bees in the hive take care of her? Thank you.

    Hi, is this Raspberry leaf spot? Should I avoid sharing a rooting of this raspberry with other people or is it OK to share? I have been getting fruit every year and the spots don’t appear until fall. The pictures are from Nov 2020 (Purple raspberry Glencoe) Thanks.

    Three of my Pinot Noir vineyards have red blotch (one confirmed and two suspected). To what extent is this a death sentence? Should I just remove suspected vines? And are French-American hybrids (Marechal Foch & Baco Noir) vulnerable ?
