Hello! We seeded a bee lawn in September and the mix has been growing great. I am seeking guidance on timing for reseeding/dormant seeding. It is difficult for me to determine based on the weather. Thank you in advance for the guidance. Please let me know if you need additional info.

What's the best way to dispose of larger Japanese Honeysuckle shrubs once they've been extracted? #889954

Greetings, we're using a tractor to remove about 100 yards of large (4-8 feet tall) Japanese Honeysuckle that are growing along a dirt roadway. What is best practice for disposing of the shrubs? Is it alright to run them through a wood chipper or will this encourage regrowth? Thank you.

Cracked Maple Tree #889951

Our Crimson King maple tree has what looks to be a crack that runs from the base, up the trunk, all the way to the top. For the most part there are signs the crack has been closed or healed over time and overgrown. It this "normal" for a maple tree? Could it have suffered a lightning strike some time in the past? More importantly, is it in danger of splitting from wind, snow or ice? Should it be taken down as a precaution?

Should I surround my 3 small boxwood shrubs and 2 small juniper trees with leaf mulch before winter? They are on the north side of my house and are about two years old. They are in a wood chip mulch bed. I also plan to wrap them with burlap as I have had ones damaged prior to these. should I wrap them completely or leave the top open to air?
