For the first few years, the pears from my tree were small however looked fine. The past couple years the pears are deformed. I don't know if an insect is creating the misshapen and diseased-looking pears of if it is a disease. What can I do to have healthy pears? Thank you.

I have a tall fescue lawn. Over the past several years, the lawn has a lighter green grass growing in patches. I have attached two pictures, one showing the lawn and the light green patch (one of many). The second picture is a close up of the "invasive" grass, Can you help me identify the light green grass and how to control it? I have a 3 acre lawn that will need to be treated, Thank you.

Good Morning, Starting last year, we have been infested with hundreds of harmless- but very annoying box elder bugs. It seems to coincide with neighbors on both sides of us cutting down trees in their backyards (just my guess that now these bugs have nowhere else to live?) I spray daily with soap water and Maggie’s Farm 3-in-1 garden spray. I’m not sure what other options I have? It doesn’t seem to make sense to have a company come and spray- since the bugs are living on our neighbor’s houses. We live in a row home in Waterside, Frederick. Hi, I just found a huge box of crocus and grape hyacinth bulbs in my shed that I forgot about. They are sprouting and have green growth. Can I plant them now (late April), even though they wouldn’t bloom this year? If not, how should I store them until fall? Many thanks!

Every year my tomatoes blight just as they are about to produce. How can I prevent blight and best treatment for blight? Revitalize was recommended to me by a large garden supply store to prevent blight. Daconil looked good from my research. What do you recommend? Also, what varieties are most blight resistant?

My peonies are coming up and look healthy. One of my plants has a circle in the center of plant that has no new shoots. The plant otherwise is growing,,,but looks like a empty circle in center. Is this unusual?

I am considering a 14' x 17' rose garden outside my sunroom. I am wondering if this would be a big problem in manisfesting too many bees. I'm okay with bees, but not in my house and I know they can make nests nearby. Would it be wise to not build a rose garden so near the sunroom and nearby patio?
