    Dead grass in front lawn #891763

    Need advice on how to revitalize scattered dead patches of grass in my front lawn (about 17 ft X 17 ft. The grass in those patches has disappeared. I have used fertilizers and other chemicals but to no avail. This condition has been the case for almost a year. The sprinkle system works, but the front lawn is on an incline which could cause the water from not getting absorbed into the ground but instead runs down.

    Hi, I had a problem with Leaf Hoppers on my grapes last year. I would like to start some control in the Spring but also understand how to control if I see mature insects during the growing season. Can you recommend an insecticidal soap with application instructions for Spring and then other options for mature Leaf Hopper control

    I have not been able to get detailed info on the toxicity rating/specifics for clematis. it appears there is some people who may be sensitive to contact, and of course moderate symptoms if ingested, though taste is so bitter children/humans not likely to over expose in this fashion? Is it variable between varieties? I'd like any science based info for human toxicity before planning to include in a public, children oriented setting.

    I’ve been looking into native berrying shrubs for my yard and have been finding conflicting information on if winterberry needs an acidic soil/if so how acidic does it really need to be. The pH of my soil is 6.9, do you think this would work or should I just find something else? Thank you!

    Pear, apple, and cherry trees need pruned. Night time temps are around 25 and daytime 40. Should I wait until danger of any freezing temps are gone?

    New growth is yellowish and dropping leaves #891747

    My previous question # 0128479 (February 2024) was answered in this space and the pruning of my large indoor "umbrella plants" was successful and followed by new growth on all pruned branches. Recently I have seen this new growth begin to yellow from its formerly dark green. Leaves both green and yellow are falling in greater numbers than last winter. Light is from the West and the window is 4' high and 8' long. Last replanting was after the Feb. 2024 pruning, using indoor potting soil including time released fertilizer. Our apartment is very dry (relative humidity 10%) with forced-air heat which has no thermostat, only an off-on option.     We live in Gleneden Beach in Lincoln county and have a mole problem in our yard. We have used ultrasonic solar stakes to try to mitigate the moles with some success. Our dog spends considerable time laying in the grass and has developed little bumps on her head and chest area. We are diligent in care for our dog including bathing, brushing and even wiping her down after being outside. We have taken her to the vet with no resolution. Is it possible that there could be parasites in association with the moles and if so, what is the best way to eradicate the problem? Thank you for your consideration.
