Convert brome to native wildflowers #893662

Asked March 05, 2025, 12:55 PM EST

Hi there! We have a pasture on our property that has been overcome by brome. We would like to convert it to native wildflowers. Are there any CU Extensions students that might want to take on this project as an internship or school assignment? We are located in Boulder.

Hi Schuyler, Thanks for reaching out. Converting a pasture to a wildflower meadow is great undertaking. The Master Gardener program does not provide referrals for any type of project. You may want to consider checking a local garden center or seed producer for assistance.

I have attached a link to to a CSU extension Wildflower Information page you may find valuable.

Best of luck with your project!
