Prepping raised beds for spring #293134

I have a couple of raised beds that have not been used for several seasons.  I need to get rid of the grass and weeds.  I have some cardboard and some old hardwood mulch I can put down.  Do you have a suggestion for a green component or amendment to help compost for spring planting?  I don't have grass clipping or many veg scraps.

what and when to grow in a North Texas greenhouse #275085

We have gardened in the ground for years but now I have just bought a small, free standing greenhouse which I plan to place in a corner of the house against a south facing wall. It could be moved around as needed too. Since I am new to this some help on what and when to plant.

Can you please send me a link to any articles or papers from OSU or other Ag schools, on how to build and most effectively use (i.e. when to plant in the spring) high tunnels? I would like to learn recommended size / dimension / materials / cost / payback for a high tunnel in Northeast Ohio. Thank you!

Peach Tree Spraying #264579

Good afternoon.  I live in Plano and have 2 peach trees (& 1 pomegranate and 1 persimmon).  I have been told I need to spray my peach trees.  Do I?  And if so, when and with what?  What about the other 2?  Thank you so very much.  Have a great weekend.

Peach Tree Problems #246147

We have experienced die off in our peach tree orchards. I will attach some photos. I dont believe the first two pictures are the same problem as the second two pictures. First two look like the same problem and second two look like same problem. Problem 1) the leaves have red hole shots in them and the foliage is not near as abundant on healthier trees. Problem 2) large trees have died off since pruning in Jan/Feb. You can see one small scaffold limb that is still alive in the last picture whereas the rest of the tree is completely dead. This has occured since pruning and seems to be in same general area of the orchard where other trees have died last year. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
