Pseudocercospora on my lilac ? #770719

First photo….My lilac has what looks like this fungus. Not sure how to help it. It is on one side and I removed the leaves that were brownest. It is a Katherine Havameyer so? Second photo is a nearby lilac. Third photo is a miss Kim lilac, it is about 15 feet away. What do you advise. Thank you

What is the best option for repairing grass that has died from the drought? The worst is on south side in full sun and steep slope. We do have a sprinkler system, but was not allowed to water here in Buffalo.

Grass without roots #769066

I have an area in my back that gets very little sun. In past years I have noticed the edges you could almost roll up. This year I was gone fir 2 weeks but had yard tended to by irrigation eo day 40 min in this area. When I got home I saw little circles(animal digging) and bunches of dead like grass-when looked n pulled in grass it was like there were no roots securing it to ground and this whole area was like this. Asked fertilizer man n he stopped looked Said he didn’t see any grubs are in sex better go ahead and put grub ex down and he also noted that you could almost roll the grass up. I am very concerned. Also yesterday in a more sunny part of this yard but still some shade my dogs are playing and they were actually when they would run and then stop pulling up areas of grass and I noted once again this almost seemed to not be routed to the ground. Now we got 3 inches of rain and my landscape guy thought maybe it could’ve been due to just the recent rain. I’m very concerned about my backyard I have a lovely backyard are used to be a farmers orchard pre-1970s it has good earth and many perennial gardens that do well obviously tolerant of shade. There are many big Ash trees and some cedar trees that the areas that have grass are the most open areas of the yard. Please help. Thank you

Peaches on my tree look gorgeous and decent size; however, still hard, don't smell "peachy," don't release easily when tugged. Neighbors are waiting for them (as well as me)--how much longer to wait for ripeness? FYI, neighborhood is east Littleton (approx Broadway and Littleton Blvd.). Thank you!!

Your publication on treating strawberries for Anthracnose implies that the only effective fungicide is "Captevate". Where and how can a small home gardener secure a very small supply of Captevate for his small strawberry patch? Please kindly reply this time.

We have 2 trees along a field-fence line behind our house on North Hampton Road (maybe 40 yards from our house) that have become infested with bagworms encased in a silk bag. There are 4 bags that I can see so far. Some bags are perhaps 15-20 feet high in the tree! What would be your advise be with this scenario to get rid of them, please. I appreciate your response.

Hello, I have patches of dead grass that have gradually expanded over the last several years. This summer, the patches expanded greatly. The recent rains have revived dormant grass, but large patches of dead grass remain. I am unsure of the appropriate remedy(ies). I have attached two pictures. Could any of the U of MN Extension experts tell from these pictures what the root cause (pun intended) of my grass problem is? And, even, suggest treatments? Ailing euonymus #767034

How do I treat the disease that in infecting my euonymus? This shrub is approximately 30-35 years old. The spots and dropping of white coated leaves became apparent in late 2020 and have worsened throughout 2021 rather than clearing up. The lower portion is more diseased. the upper portion still has healthy-appearing leaves and branches. We pruned the shrub once so far in 2021. No insects are visible so they do not appear responsible. I have applied no chemicals to the shrub or anywhere in my yard in 2021 or 2020. Nor have I fertilized this shrub or disturbed its garden bed other than to add pine-bark mulch chips in all 2020 and in spring 2021.
