Hello!
I am located in Menominee County, MI and am hoping to find answers as to what vegetation can be added to our acreage, which includes both woods and wetland/swamp, to provide a sustainable food source and be nutritious for our wildlife. We have a heavy deer population, along with raccoons, and the occasional bear. Properties around us focus heavily on deer management, so setting our land up for success is the goal.
If the answer is food plots, what seed mixture would work best in each sunny:dry and shaded:moist areas?
Are there any seeds whatsoever that can grow in submerged waters that would help dry up with wetland areas?
Are there any tougher flowers or herbs that can bounce back from deer feeding on them regularly?
Any info helps, thank you in advance!
