Branch from backyard White Oak tree fell last week, has purplish slimy looking growths.Can it be identified, is it a serious concern? Both the oaks in back have had brown spot and aphids the pas 2-3 years. Thank you much. SK.

Hi, For three years my knockout rose bush grew great, no issues. Then three years ago the leaves started getting decimated by SOMETHING. The plant still blooms, but it eats all the leaves completely. I have studied it and obsessed over it and I see no slug, bugs, tiny winged creatures, nothing. I have tried Neem oil, and all manner of Rose and Flower insect killer, plus slug pellets just to be safe. No other plants are affected. It starts out like it is now, where some of the leaves start to get spots, then tiny holes, and then all of sudden POOF. Leaves gone. Please help!

I have two medium size apple trees. one is a grafted apple with three types of green apples. I have 6 ozes of Medex and I would like instructions of recommended dilution.

I believe it was fall 2022 when I purchased and planted my Marina Madrone. I picked it because I understood it was pretty resistant to diseases and bugs and low maintenance. The area I planted it receives full sun most of the day and no shade. There is only grass with the tree. It is a very small yard. The tree has been doing well until now. I have noticed the leaves have black spots on them. I looked it up and it seems my tree has a fungus probably due to too much moisture. I am also finding there isn't much that can be done beyond pruning and hoping for the best. However, I'm writing in case there is something more I can try. I am wondering if adding sand or rock to the root soil might help? Or if there is something else I haven't thought of yet. I have considered making my traditional lawn into a more native lawn or yard where there is less water needed. This would provide an added excuse. Of course, if it would benefit the tree, would you be kind enough to point me in a direction to find assistance for doing this? I greatly appreciate any guidance you can give me beyond pruning and hoping for the best.
