I received three plants from the grocery store florist. The pot of tulips dropped all its petals. The Calandiva and Hyacinth still look nice. Can I plant these bulbs outside to enjoy next spring?What month would I plant them and how deep? I am not sure if all of them come from bulbs. Thanks. Sally

Last fall, we spilled some wild bird seed in the lawn.  Now we have a taller, bright green wide blade grass taking over.  How can we kill this without destroying the bluegrass lawn?

Hello, I can no longer do our gardening work due to back problems, and I was wondering how I could find a knowledgeable individual who could take over. I don't want to hire a company with a crew come, because the crew in my experience isn't knowledgeable about what needs to be done when and doesn't take a custom approach. I'm looking for an individual who knows what to do and could keep up a more natural look rather than sheering shrubs into meatballs. Do you think there is a master gardener who would be interested? Or do you have any thoughts about how to find someone? Thank you!

I am told they have been spraying Round Up at Easter Star for 10+ yrs and they are not going to stop The entire property is void of any insects; birds; you-name-it What can a resident do to change their minds about what they are using. Hello, bought a Apple Tree from 2 years ago and it has not produce.fruit although it has bloomed. I looked at it today and there are weird bumps over some branches. I googled and it appears to be scale. Can you please confirm? If it is indeed scale how can I fix this? Should I worry about my other Apple,Pear, Peach and citrus trees?
