This showed up in my neighbor’s yard. She said it was the size of a 50 cent coin (if anyone remembers how big a 50 cent coin is). It looks like one I saw on my house, but that one was about 4”. (Whatever this one is, will it grow?) Thanks!!

It’s very small (“quarter” included in image for scale) and low growing, almost like a moss. Does well even in the dry summers. Soft to the touch. I love it and want to grow more of it! Roots grow down only about 1/2 inch.

I have a small area of my yard that's staying moist and has gooey stinky fungus coming out the ground. I noticed this after hitting a root under ground when aerating. See attached picture. The blue speckles are my grass seeds.

I planted Yukon Bermuda grass about 4 years ago. Now, after each winter I have problems with annual blue grass and Chickweed within the yukon bermuda grass. I cut it religiously at 2-1/2 inches. I do not want to use fertilizer. One good thing about: it Choked out all the wild violets. Please help.
