This weed comes up all over every year and I spend a lot of time pulling it. Any help you can give in identifying it and preventing it from coming up every year would be greatly appreciated.

We are setting up a drip irrigation system for some new vegetable and berry beds and are wondering if there are any lead free irrigation timers or NSF certified timers out there. If not, how important is it? If there is lead in the timer that connects to the hose, then it seems some lead would end up sitting in the water that stays in the hoses around the clock. Would that level of lead ever be too much for the soil and plants? Thank you. Laurie and Lucas

We have a semi dwarf "Liberty" Apple tree. On the trunk the bark has turned black and is peeling. The tree still produced last year. Can you identify the problen? Should it be removed? Will it infect our other Apple trees?

For several weeks we have had swarming small bees in 2 areas around our home: deck and gutters in the front of our home. What do we do to get rid of them and determine if they have caused damage? I am attaching a couple of photos of holes that I saw a couple of bees hanging around.

Can you recommend a low-maintenance grass seed for planting a new lawn? I have seen ads for "No-mow lawns", but I don't know if claims made about such grass seed are dependable. A drought, heat resistant grass that needs minimal mowing is desired.

Clear sap on apricot tree #865725

Hi, I’ve got a healthy looking apricot tree, good growth, good fruit set, bark looks good, foliage looks good, but I’ve noticed a number of blobs of clear amber spots. I can’t see any damage to the tree at the points of sap. Am wondering if you’re able to provide any insight. Thank you!
