I'd recommend following up with the SOREC Plant Clinic first as they have limited hours in the winter and are likely working to get you a good answer. From November through March, hours for the Plant Clinic are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10AM - 2PM, so you can reach them via phone during those times. I also recommend checking your "junk" or "spam" folders in your email to see if the Plant Clinic's response was filtered out of your primary inbox.
