sweet potatoes #893346

my sweet potatoes had only skinny roots, no tubers. what did i do wrong? Is it a fertilizer situation.? And do heirloom vs organic seeds when planted will they both be true to their parents?

Your next question is confusing. Heirloom seeds will generally produce the same as their parents. Organic seeds are those grown without any non-organic fertilizers etc. Two organic plants may be grown and cross pollinated producing a result that does not resemble both parents.
