Expert Response

This is probably a drugstore beetle or carpet beetle. Both would be one of the few species that survive indoors and found in wintertime. Drugstore beetles are pests of grains, medicines, pet food, and other bulk food items. Carpet beetles feed on fibers and wool clothes. I would suggest doing a deep clean of the areas and any carpets where you are finding these beetles. They do not pose structural concern for your home but can damage materials or clothes.

I am unable to cc others on Ask Extension.
