Hello, I am a special education teacher at a school in Bloomington. I got permission to start a new school garden this year and would love any advice on how to best set up a new garden and what flowers, fruits, and vegetables would work best for the garden. I would love some that my students could pick and eat when we come back to school in the fall. I would also be interested in having any volunteers come and speak to the school or some classes about gardening and what it entails and how it is helpful for the environment if that is something that could happen.
