Is there one master gardener class or are there just multiple classes that one attends? I'm confused. I thought you went to something and then received a designation of master gardener. Thank you.

Hi Linda, Master Gardener training standards are set at a state and national level. The training program to become a Master Gardener lasts several months to a year depending on your county, and will require at least 40 hours of educational training and 40 hours of volunteering to graduate. This means there are several classes and other meetings in a Master Gardener's training program.
