I’m growing cannabis in a peat based soilless medium. I recently limed the medium to raise the ph of the soil but raised the ph to 7.1 one whole ph point more than I wanted. Is a ph of 7.1 too high for cannabis growing medium? I read it should be 5.8 to 6.2, how big of a sin is a ph of 7.1?

Expert Response
You may not notice a difference. If the leaves show veinal chlorosis adding acidic fertilizer will probably be enough to correct the problem. A higher pH can reduce growth but it is unlikely to stop growth. Cannabis is a weed.
