Unfortunately we don't have any specific recommendations, since Extension doesn't collect information about what products businesses sell, nor do we recommend particular businesses. The orchid Brassavola nodosa should be fairly easy to find at orchid growers who offer more than just one or two genera of plants (like someone specializing in Phalaenopsis hybrids, for example), but we don't have an inventory of the orchid retailers in Maryland; there aren't many, so you may need to investigate mail-order options if you can't find it locally.

Orchid shows, like the National Capital Orchid Society show and sale (in September for this year; used to be earlier), and Maryland Orchid Society show/sale (March), can be another way to buy orchids locally from vendors that come in from out-of-state.
