Can you safely consume potatoes that have sprouted (about 6 inches long) if I cut the sprouts out, and peel them. They are also shriveled some, if edible, they could bee peeled.

Great question! Potatoes are a versatile food that can be turned into so many things that taste great. if the sprouts are small and then the potato still firm, you can cut off the sprouts and use the potato.
