We are located in Linn county and plan on fencing in a pasture next to a road. It is standard 4ft field fence. How far off the road does it need to be? I've scoured the internet and couldn't find any info.

This is a great question, and there is not a clear answer out there as it varies depending on Zoning and county. I recommend calling Linn County directly to confirm if you can place the fenceline directly on your property line or if there needs to be a set back.
