Brown marmorated stink bugs are an invasive insect which are commonly found in our area. They can damage many fruits and vegetables since they have a wide host range and they are very mobile. Unfortunately there are not many management options for these pests, although researchers are exploring biological control with a small wasp. You did not mention how large your garden is, but it might be possible to exclude the pest with a fine mesh netting around the crops you are most worried about, however it would need to be placed prior to the pest arriving in your garden.  Here is more information:
