Hello,
This summer, I was a pesticide applicator for about a month and a half, using granular Escort XP in spraying backpacks. I was wondering if I should be concerned about my other belongings still having residue on them, even though I washed my PPE in a separate wash every day. (I used cold water and a powder detergent, but didn’t run an empty load in between and hung my clothes on a clothes line outside.) Could I continuously be exposing myself to these pesticides through wearing my normal day-to-day clothes? Or by using a backpack that I used during work? Please let me know what you think or if you have any questions.

Expert Response
Hello, the label says to wash the clothing. If you have washed your clothes more than once everything should be gone.
