Hello, This summer, I was a pesticide applicator for about a month and a half, using granular Escort XP in spraying backpacks. I was wondering if I should be concerned about my other belongings still having residue on them, even though I washed my PPE in a separate wash every day. (I used cold water and a powder detergent, but didn’t run an empty load in between and hung my clothes on a clothes line outside.) Could I continuously be exposing myself to these pesticides through wearing my normal day-to-day clothes? Or by using a backpack that I used during work?
