Where can I get the best seeds for vegetables and herbs?

MSU Extension does not keep lists of retailers or products. We do not endorse any name brands or retailers.
You will find many seed sources by searching online. Also, as the season approaches, you will find racks of seeds available in garden centers, big box stores, hardware stores, etc. There are organic seed options as well.
What you want to look for are seeds with a packaged date on them for the current year. Fresh seed is what you want to buy.
