Hi! We just moved to Pleasant Hill from California and I’m looking for a recommendation of nurseries where I can find vegetable plants and bear root fruit tree starts. Also, do you have a place you would recommend for compost/potting soil in large quantities?

There are a number of nurseries in Lane County that carry vegetable starts and bare root trees. You can use the Oregon Association of Nurseries website to search for nurseries in your area that carry the plants you are looking for: https://plantsomethingoregon.com/find/. The two main suppliers of landscaping materials are Rexius and Lane Forest Products.
