There are many free programs within 4-H. Some are virtual, some are in-person. There can also be scholarships for support for program attendance where there are costs depending on the county.
My recommendation is to:
Check with the local 4-H Program Coordinator in your county and/or surrounding counties- https://www.canr.msu.edu/outreach/county They can share about upcoming programs, especially free ones and may have a newsletter or a social media where they post and share.
I also recommend checking the events listing on the MSU Extension website for 4-H at: https://www.canr.msu.edu/4h/Events/ and the state-wide events: https://www.canr.msu.edu/4h/Events/statewide-4-h-events
The main website for MSU Extension includes an event listing, as well, that is searchable by county, key words (4-H, free), etc. https://www.canr.msu.edu/outreach/events
I hope that helps! Thanks for reaching out and having interest in 4-H!
