Over wintering female oriole #891401

Asked January 08, 2025, 4:59 PM EST

We have a female oriole that is overwintering in our backyard. We have been feeding her suet, berry and bug seed mixture, and have two heated birdbaths that she shares with the other birds. We have researched how to provide for her. Is there anything else that you can think of?

The Wild bird store might have more suggestions for you. Meal worms are a high protein treat. Your support seems excellent. The fat you are providing will be really important with the cold temps. Water is also very important. Good luck and I am envious.
