The DC Booth Fish Hatchery is dredging there fish pond and has offered the organic matter for fertilizer to Master Gardeners in our club.
Is it safe for vegetables
It is fresh-so how long would it need to cure before using?
Anything else you can share is appreciated

Hey Lisa, I would ask them if they use antibiotics in the food. If so, I would not use it. You could use it around trees and such, but not around produce you would consume.
You could cure it for at least six months during the summer months so it likely would not be ready to use until next fall.
