I am new to growing onions when I goggle my growing zone 7b it says short day but when I goggle my zip code 19720 it says long day. I am very confused

Some confusion about ZIP Codes and addresses are the USDA recently revised the hardiness zones and overall Delaware is 1/2 a zone hotter/warmer. A lot of resources have not caught up with the reconfiguration of the zones
While short day would produce, you’ll have a better chance with long day varieties.
