We have some 30+ year old evergreen trees that need to be replaced. We will be cutting down and digging out stumps. Will there be any issues with replacing them with Nannyberry shrubs? If yes, what would you recommend for replacements?
Thank you

Expert Response
Hi Beth,
There shouldn’t be any issues planting nannyberry in that area. You may need to locate the shrubs a few feet away from where the old stumps were. That’s true regardless of what shrub or tree you plant.
Good luck.
