I have an arrowhead plant that it's wrapping its leaves tightly around its stump. It has not done it before, any suggestions on what might be causing it? Not all of the leaves are affected.

The curling leaves can be an indication of a watering issue. If the leaves are limp and mushy, and the soil is wet, the plant may be reacting to too much water. If the leaves are a little brittle and curled, it is possible that the plant is not getting enough water or not enough humidity. The arrowhead plant needs to dry out between waterings - but check to see if the top 2 inches of soil are dry before watering. If the plant seems to be receiving the right amount of water, it is possible that the colder weather and heating in your home have resulted in lower humidity. The plant may be reacting to that or fluctuations in temperature. To resolve a low humidity issue, using a pebble tray or a humidifier can help. Fluctuations in temperature as well as being in the path of a heating vent can also cause stress for the plant.
