Can I burn Lilac wood? #889913

I have cut off a lot of dead wood on my lilac bushes, including some "trunks" that are 2-3 inches in diameter. Is it okay to burn that wood in an outside fire pit? Just wondering wether the smoke might have any toxicity?

Hi Catherine,

It is fine to burn lilac wood in an outdoor fire pit.  It is good to limit inhaling wood smoke so burning outside is the best.
