Hi Wendy,

Thank you for contacting UNH Cooperative Extension Infoline with your question about when you can put out your bird feeders.  NH Fish and Game recommends that feeders be put out beginning December 1 and removed by April 1 to avoid problems with bears.

Thank you so much! There were a few chickadees perched on the feeder hook this weekend, as if to say “It’s time!”
