Black splotches on Persimmon #889595

Hello, I was hoping you could please help me identify the black splotches on a leaf from my American Persimmon tree Thank you

Hi, 

This is natural senescence (the leaf cells losing energy and dying) that occurs at this time of year as the tree stops putting energy into growing leaves and stores energy in the roots for the winter. They will fall off soon - if they haven't already, and you can leave them to decompose or rake to any area to decompose over the winter.
