how and where do i get my soil tested #889418

I sent a request last Saturday for some information on soil testing. I'd love help. Many of my perennials dont come back year three...

Thank you for your question, Anne.  We're unable to find any prior inquiry.  But the only soil lab in the Metro area is A & L Western Laboratories in Sherwood.  https://al-labs-west.com/soil-analysis/

Now is the time to get your soil tested, and follow the recommendations of the lab (may be small extra fee) for soil amendments.  Adding them in the fall makes them available to the plants when they need them in the spring.  Be sure to advise the lab what plant species you're growing, so they know whether pH, nutrients, or both need to be addressed.  Good luck!
