Hello, I am a flower farmer, going on my fourth season and I have never had my soil tested. I am looking to find out more information to assure my soil is healthy for next season. Do you offer soil testing? Also can you send a link to your free master gardener class?
thank you!

Hi Kristi,
Yes, you can get your soil tested at the CSU Spur Soil Testing Facility in Denver - you'll mail samples. You can also use Weld Labs (Greeley) or Ward Labs (Nebraska). The latter two are private labs and are likely to process your samples more quickly and may be less expensive, especially if you are doing multiple samples.
I am not aware of a free Master Gardener class? We have Green School, which is the training that is used for both Master Gardener volunteers and those seeking a Colorado garden certificate. Unfortunately, registration for that class ended on 10/30. You can add yourself to the interested list to get information for next year: https://colostate.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6gR3BZ4kFqvaAdw
You can also consider some of the online classes - but they are all fee based.
Extension does offer free webinars and has recorded many since 2020. There isn't one specific to cut flower production, but you can see the upcoming webinars and also scroll to see those that are recorded: https://csuhort.blogspot.com/p/csu-extension-spring-gardening-webinars.html
