I fed my green bottle blue tarantula yesterday, and I saw her get behind a cricket that was out of her reach and pull it to her fangs with her arm. I have had plenty of spiders and have never seen this happen. Is this normal behavior?

All the research I have done states that tarantula typically ambush their prey. I am unsure if this means your spider’s actions are out of the norm. Th k you for the question. The bottle blue tarantula is beautiful.
