While I was out of town 2 Cages of finches died. Other cages of birds were fine. I don't know if my pet sitter is to blame or if it could be the flu. I'm talking about 50 birds.
Thoughts?

Thank you for reaching out and I am so sorry to hear. Without a necropsy we are unable to determine the cause. Have you considered a necropsy? If so, you can do so through our OSU Diagnostic Lab: https://vetmed.oregonstate.edu/ovdl
Since these are domestic finches and not wild, nor are they considered a food crop like poultry, I am not aware of any agency for you to report to.
