I planted some Callies in my yard/ground this year because the pots that I had them in previous years broke. Because I didn’t have any other pots, I planted them in my yard in the ground to enjoy them. I’m aware that they will not live in the ground in Michigan over winter so I have, dug them up. How can I preserve/save them over the winter to plant them again next year? Should I put them in some soil in a disposable pot and put them in my garage? Should I put them in a brown paper bag without any soil? I would appreciate your advice on how I can save them to replant them next year in a pot or in the ground. I live in Grand Rapids Michigan. I have included a picture of what they look like after I have dug them up
