help with diapers or pull ups #887571

I am one of the family advocates for Head Start. I am reaching out to your agencies to get further information on how parents can get Pull ups for their preschooler.
We do have quite a few children who use pull ups in our school, but unfortunately, we only provide diapers and not pull ups. If a child is potty training using a Pull Up will help the child achieve this goal. Pull ups are to be provided by the families and as you know this is costly and most of these families are on government assistance such as SNAP.
I would truly appreciate your help and/or orientation in this matter.

Hi Nancy,
There may be resources in your community for free diapers and pull-ups. To find out if an agency in your area provides diaper assistance, please call 2-1-1 on your phone or search online at 2-1-1.org. Specialists are available 24/7 to help identify local resources that may be able to help provide diapers and other basic necessities.
Ask about or search for diapers or basic needs. Also check the listings under children. If you still can’t find a resource, try local faith-based organizations and food pantries.
You can also determine if there is a diaper bank program serving your community by reviewing our National Diaper Bank Network member directory.
Thanks for contacting Ask Extension.
